The render is taking forever (24 hours+). Solution: You probably have Displacement on a high-poly rug. Go to the Material settings for the rug, find Displacement, and change "Amount" from 1.0 to 0.1.

He tweaked color balance to warm the human elements and cool the storm; pushed contrast in a V-Ray LUT rather than in post, preserving dynamic range. The denoiser softened a few subtle highlights, so he set small localized render elements: one for specular, one for diffuse, and another for reflection.
