The film takes place 34 years after the events of the original Top Gun. Maverick, now a decorated captain, is back at the prestigious Top Gun Naval Aviator School as an instructor. He's tasked with training a new generation of elite pilots for a high-stakes mission to take down a rogue uranium enrichment facility. Alongside his new team, including Lieutenant Bradley "Rooster" Bradshaw (Miles Teller), Maverick must confront his past and push his skills to the limit.
