The film centers around four friends: Alice (Florence Pugh), a botanist; Dani (Eliza Scanlen), her sister; Connie (Joey King), a thrill-seeker; and Matt (Johan Rabaeus), a Swedish friend who takes them on a hiking trip in the remote Swedish wilderness. Their goal is to hike through the forest and reach a secluded cabin, where they plan to spend a few days.
