The story follows Park Jin-gi, a washed-up movie star, and Do-pil, a struggling singer. After failing to find investors for their creative projects in Busan, Jin-gi is forced to move in with his father-in-law. The father-in-law suffers from dementia and is mentally unstable, leading to a series of chaotic yet touching mishaps as the two navigate their new living arrangement.
