⚠️ Do not use CS-F1000/F2000 – that is for older models. The IC-F3003 uses CS-F3000 .
2. Obtaining the CS-F3000 Software
Because this is exclusive software:
Option A (Legitimate): Contact an Icom dealer. Provide your radio's serial number. Purchase the software license (approx. $100–150 USD). Icom will email a download link + license key.
Option B (Evaluation): Some dealers offer a 30-day trial. Request a temporary key.
Option C (Archival/Used): Search for “CS-F3000” on radio forums (e.g., Radioreference, Batlabs). Note: This violates Icom's EULA.

3. Installing the Software
Disable antivirus temporarily (installer modifies registry).
Run Setup_CS-F3000.exe as Administrator.
When prompted, enter your license key (format: XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX ).
Complete installation. Default path:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Icom\CS-F3000
Do not run the software yet.
4. Installing the Programming Cable Driver
Most aftermarket cables use FTDI FT232RL or Prolific PL2303 .
For FTDI: Download CDM v2.12.28 from FTDIchip.com.
For Prolific: Use v3.2.0.0 (newer Windows versions reject old Prolific chips).
For Icom OPC-478 (genuine): Driver is included with CS-F3000.

Plug cable into USB port (radio disconnected).
