Windows "Controlled Folder Access" or third-party antivirus software often blocks new folder creation in "Public Documents".
Right-click your DAW (Ableton, FL Studio, etc.) or the Soundtoys installer and select "Run as Administrator" to ensure it has permission to create folders. Verify Default Preset Paths:
